Something Wrong (Ben Heine)

sounds so similar to the war on lebanon doesn’t it? -all whilst before the obama administration steps in…how convenient…and why obama silent anyways towards this, if he promised “change to the world”?

the israeli government spokesman said on al-jazeerah  english that they want a 2 state resolution, the ground assault that began yesterday looks like they’re only aiming for a 1 state solution -hoping to wipe out the whole palestinian state…first gaza, the next west bank…is this going to be the next genecide, arab “holocaust” only be prepetrated by the “victims” of hitler’s holocaust? -particularly with the help of the bush admministration and arab neighbours like egypt?

if mubarak was the broker for the 16 months ceasefire -why did it close off its borders only days before israeli was to commit its assault on gaza and at the moment imprisoning many more who dare to cross the line to help the palestinians?

sure, no country should put up with bombs being littered on its citizens by its neighbours but the response the israeli government has taken has all been too brutal and inappropriate to what the gaza government could reply with.

funny how the bush administration expressed its sympathy for the palestinian people when they are the ones blindly helping the israeli government flatten gaza. how sincere!

how have the israeli forces stragetically targetted hamas strongpoints when their literally hitting everyone? is hamas also in a form of an unarmed child, baby, women, elderly? is anyone born arab a threat to israel? so who’s next? syria? egypt? are they planning to control saudi arabia afterwards?

if they truly want peace in the region, they should allow everyone rightfully live in peace, not put up more walls or borders or armies.

if hamas was considered a nation, particularly a democratic nation -would the world even accept such atacks on it? if the bush administration have been pushing for democracy in the middle east (more like staunch capitalism), then why are they not accepting hamas as a democratic state? is it only a democratic state when its friends with you?

it worries me how israel and its friends have been able to exploit how ununited and corrupt arab and muslim countries are, all prioritising on maintaining its regime at the expense of all the wrongs, massacres towards muslims happening elsewhere…what would they get up to next?

also, how you also want a peace process between 2 countries if each state harbours so much hate against the other?

i can understand why palestinians have ongoing animosities against israelis -colonization, alienation, oppression, occupation, but i can’t understand the reverse, especially when they were the one’s taking the palestinian’s land and made them refugees.

israel is a very strategic point for jews and christians but did they ever think -had they left it in the hands of muslims, we would actually take care of palestine/jerusalem/israel even better than they did? the crusades are a classic example.

if you look back on the scriptures -holy Quraan, Bible, Torah…Moses and the “promised land”, even when the israelites entered palestine -there were already people there, just like when christopher columbus discovered america and james cook found australia…should a “promised land” be empty or occupied, just as Mecca was empty when hagah set to develop it with ismail? if it was promised to them, why did the israelites disobey God and wandered 40 years before ever finding it as a form of punishment? so isit anywhere a jew steps foot on a land, they will always be doomed? cursed? just as the british created this israel for them in the 1940’s? can they ever call anywhere home?

just contemplations…not assertions…

  1. This war is just a merry go round. Another country to bomb for the Israel. Is just insane is more like a vicious cycle. Maybe because I am the mom of a 13 month old and a 2.5 year heart goes to all of those mothers and fathers that are trying to protect their children from the shower of bullets, bombs. I just can not understand that in this world there can be so much evil.
Inshallah soon the shower of bullets, rockets, bombs can be stop from both sides.

  4. Assalamu Alaikum,

Muslims around the world are fasting in solidarity with the people of Gaza until the offensive ends.
It is expected that the offensive is going to continue for another two or three weeks.
As Muslims, we are responsible and will be accountable for what is happening to Muslims around the globe today.
The least we can do is fast in solidarity.

Please forward to all Muslims you know, even if you do not agree.
